Diwali

The smell of sweets fills one corner, while the glow of earthen lamps and the sound of crackers fill another, bringing our homes alive with the true spirit of the festival. My heart wonders—the Festival of Lights, Diwali, is near. A five-day celebration filled with weeks of preparation, it is a time of love, joy, vibrant colors, and brightness. Yet every year, as Diwali approaches, I find myself caught in a little duel between my spirit as a writer, eager to capture every emotion in words, and my soul, which simply wants to pause and enjoy every beautiful moment. Diwali is more than sweets, gifts, and celebrations; it is a festival of light, color, togetherness, and meaningful connections. Amidst the glow and joy, fresh floral arrangements add their own special charm, symbolizing purity, prosperity, and joyous new beginnings while filling our homes with beauty and fragrance.
